The CAGD Chairman is in charge of managing and developing the CAGD’s activity.
Hervé Delannoy currently chairs the CAGD.
Pursuant to a partnership agreement between the CAGD and the CAIP, the latter’s Secretariat is in charge of the management and administration of arbitrations and mediations in accordance with the CAGD rules and guidelines. It also provides legal and logistic support to the arbitrators and mediators acting under the CAGD.
As an autonomous and independent body, the CAIP Secretariat carries out its functions in complete independence from the CAGD and its organs.
The CAGD has an Arbitration Commission and a Mediation Commission, responsible for accepting applications to become a CAGD arbitrator or mediator.
Moreover, the Arbitration Commission ensures the application of the CAGD Arbitration Rules and acts, in accordance therewith, whenever called upon, for example, to appoint and confirm arbitrators, rule on challenges to arbitrators, and decide whether to consolidate of arbitrations.
The arbitration fees and the mediation fees are calculated on the basis of the amount in dispute.
